Is Foggy Memory, Lightheadedness And Dizziness After Being Punched On Head Serious?

I work with persons with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues. Just after 10PM Friday evening one of them attacked me, punching my head, among other things. I had a headache last night (Friday), only a mild one right now. I'm glad, that being at work, I had to write an incident report and that I was given time almost immediately to do so, as my memory of the details seems to be getting foggier. I am also very lightheaded and somewhat dizzy. I worked until 8AM Saturday morning, but then got plenty of sleep. I did not feel very bad at 7 to 8AM Saturday and chose not to go to the ER. Should I be checked by a DR?

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a head injury following which you are having dizziness, lightheadedness..
These symptoms are indicative significant concussion related head injury and this requires evaluation by investigations like CT scan to look for signs of headinjury and treatment accordingly.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
