Is Foul Smelling And Loose Stool Caused By The Side Effect Of Medication For Heart Attack And Diabetes?

i recently had a heart attack and also have type 2 diabetes.My new medications are brilinta,janumet,protonix, pepcid, and co-reg. I am experiencing foul smelling sewer stinking bowel movements, they are light brown and loose. I was thinking it is one of the medication,what do you think?

Of the medicines that you mentioned, Janumet is well-known to cause loose motions which are often foul-smelling. If the side-effect is causing you problems, you can discuss with your doctor alternative medicines for diabetes. Please do not make any changes yourself without consulting with your doctor.
