Is Gall Bladder Removal Necessary In Treating Gall Stones?

had an ultrasound last week, found out today I have several 7mm gallstones with a gall bladder wall thickening of 3mm. I have had constant pain and symptoms for a little over 2 years. meeting with a surgeon this coming Thursday. Im assuming I will have my gall bladder removed. is that a correct assumption?

Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, I think that your assumption is right to get a gall bladder surgery is the best choice you have several gallstones and the pain is because they are small and they're moving, the gallbladder wall thickening is a sign that you have an inflammatory process, all the pain and digestive disorders stop when you get the surgery.I hope that my advice has been helpful
