Is Having Birthmarks Are More Likely To Get Certain Disease?

I have a birthmark in my back about 2in long and about 1/2 to 1in wide. It s light mocha brown and it s never caused me problems. About a week or so ago it started hurting like a bruise but I never bumped it. Now it hurts if I move my arm too far back. I ve heard that people with multiple birthmarks are more likely to get a certain desease, I have 3 birthmarks. Does anyone know if I should go see a doctor about this?
