Is Head Scan Recommended After An Injury-causing Bruise On The Side Of The Head?

I got hit in the side of the head last Thursday and don't remember going down. I remember getting up and everything after. The side of my head near my temple is bruised but I haven't experienced any headaches or vomiting, etc. since. Should I get it checked out?

That you don't remember the episod it means that it was an important blow. I think you ought to have a CT scan just to exclude some subdural or epidural hemorrhage in the brain which can be fatal. So better to do a CT scan/
