Is Heart Palpitation After Total Knee Replacement Surgery, normal?

I am a 57 year old woman that had a total knee replacement surgery two weeks ago. I am off work for 6 weeks for recovery and have been told by the surgeon and physical therapist that I am doing very well. I have notice that the last few days I feel like my heart is racing. Is this normal after surgery?
