Is Heart Palpitations With Pain Normal During Running?
Is running everday bad for you?
Sometimes when my heart gets to a high rate, e.g 160 - 170bpm(guess figure), I can feel my chest pound significanlty (without me haveing to put my hand on my chest) and its almost like i can feel the blood being pumped in and out of my heart with sometimes a sharp pain in my heart. what could it be?
Its very weird, is it because my heart rate is near its maximum?
No running everyday is very good for health. When a person runs the heart rate rises to meet the increased oxygen demand of the body and this is quite normal.
Individuals who are not obese usually can fell their racing heart. But there should be no pain. If you are feeling sharp chest pain then its adviasble to consult a cardiologist personally and get a Stress Test (TMT) done.
But if its just a discomfort not pain then its not an issue.
I wish you good health
