Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
MY FATHER IS 76 YRS OLD AND IN REGULAR MEDICATION FOR HYPERTENSION SINCE LAST 40 YRS. GENERALLY HE SUFFERS FROM CONSTIPATION. RECENTLY HE HAS DEVELOPED HERNIA ON RIGHT GROIN. IS IT ADVISEABLE TO GET IT OPERATED IN HIS AGE? IF YES, WHICH HOSPITAL IS BEST IN KOLKATA FOR THIS SURGERY? WE WANT TO UNDERGO A CONVENTIONAL SURGERY AND NOT A LAPAROSCOPIC. WHAT COULD BE THE APPROX PACKAGE AND DURATION OF HOSPITALISATION?
