Hi ! I have gone through your question and I understand your concern Yes your dull ache can be caused of the kidney stones also the blood in urine too . If the stones are in big size and they keep being in the kidney they will irritate your urinary tract and so you will have symptoms. It could be also cause of infection of your urinary usually you will have burning during urination and frequent urination. Also when you have stones for a long time they may cause kidney problem ( hydronephrosis) .
