Is Hysterectomy Recommended For Damaged Uterus?

I had an hsg done on Monday the 03/23/15. During the procedure when they injected the dye immediately I felt a burning sensation all the way up my sides and stomach. It was still there after the procedure and I can still feel it now. I went to my obgyn today and he said I need a hysterectomy becaus I was in a car accident and it did damage to my uterus which is unusually enlarged and my tubal clamp that is supposed to be on my right side is now on my left side floating up towards my left lung and my right Fallopian. Tune is open. How much danger am I in. My surgery is scheduled for 4/13/15 @ 6:0
