Is Hysterectomy Recommended In Case Of Prolapsed Uterus And Urethra?

I have a prolapsed uterus and also the uretha somewhat. I use a pessary for prolapsed pelvic floor, but the uterus slips passed it as the pessary seems to slide up. I am in the process of trying a different type of pessary which I feel is difficult to insert. When is hysterectomy recommended and what are the pros and cons, risks involved?
