3.5 weeks ago I underwent microvascular surgery during the reattahment of my finger that was removed in an accident. I have been taking diluadid for pain but wondered about moving to ibuprofen. Would there be any risk to the microvascular surgery posed by ibuprofen?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Diluadid is an opioid pain medication indicated in very severe pains.Pain may reduce in intensity in the course of the healing process and lower classes of pain drugs like ibuprofen will be indicated. There may be no risks in taking ibuprofen. You may try it and see if it may help control your pain.I will advise you take ibuprofen with food. Hope this will help Wish you good health
