Is It Gout Having Constant Pain On The Outer Edge Of The Right Foot To The Ball Of The Foot And To The Heel?

I have constant pain on the outer edge of my right foot. My doctor called it arthritis right away. But, the pain over the years has traveled around the same foot, going from the ball of the foot , back to the heel for awhile then now to the outer edge. Pain is constant. My job has me on concrete floors all day, plus I m 50 lbs overweight. Left foot gets tired, but recoups when I get off of it, but the right foot eases when rested but has sharp pain bearing weight after resting. Freind say sounds like gout ?

As per your history, it is unlikely that you have gout, but it can only be confirm by either examination of fluid from joint or ultrasounds of joint or CT scan
I agree with you doctor that it may be osteoarthritis
Hope this will help
