Is It A Matter Of Concern If Ultrasound Shows Length Of Cervix At 32mm With Prominent Contraction And No Fetal Abnormality At 15th Week Of Pregnancy?
My Ultra sound Report says, Intact intrauterine pregnancy of 15+ Weeks, my LPM was 18-May-13.
In the details of the USG Report Cervix is 32mm in lenght and is closed at the time of scan, Infact prominent contraction is seen in. No gross fetal abnormality is seen.
Hi.I suppose everything is fine. Cervical length is ok at this gestation. If it is 25mm or less, then chances of cervical incompetence. You may repeat the scan after 7 days if you have any pain or heaviness lower abdomen or any spotting and see any changes in the cervix, like shortening of length or funneling.Consult your dr. immediately for any such change. Thanks.
