Is It Advisable For Duphaston & Duvadilan Intake In Pregnant Woman?
hi doctor! I hve been prescribed by my OB of duphaston & duvadilan since I am travelling to Thailand. I am 4 weeks pregnant now. This is my first child with no history of miscarriage. Is it safe to take this two drugs on my first trimester? Or should I stop taking it because I am experiencing mild cramps, headache & nausea. Thank you.

Your doctor is right in prescribing duphaston as you had miscarried earlier.
The duvadilan is not of much use now. Besides it causes symptoms like dizziness and headache .thus can be bothersome if you are flying.
I recommend you take only duphaston daily.
Both the drugs are safe.
Its just that duvadilan is helpful in late pregnancy say 4-5 months when your are traveling.
