Is It Advisable To Go For Rectocele Surgery With CNS Damage?
Does this cost I am probably going to have to have rectocele surgery Am 72 and have trigeminal neuralgia, so I know what pain is I worry about the fact that I have CNS damage How will I do with that and with the pain of the surgery I am already on Opana and Percocet for the TN I go to a pain clinic for my meds Also take Neurontin I don t want to do the surgery but can t control my bowels
Surgery for a 3/4 degree prolapse of rectum is paramount as long standing hernia of the gut may lead to ulcers, fistula, and even dysplastic changes over the suffering surfaces. As far as your neuralgia is concerned, varied prevention medications can control the episodes to some extent. If you wish to postpone it or cancel the surgery, ask your doctor about how bad the rectocele is and if there is an alternative. Some sling operations without perineal repair semmed to have overcome the defficulty, however it's success depends on the extent of ur prolapse.
