Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
AMH reflects the
ovarian reserve.
See basically in males,
spermatogenesis is a dynamic process.
It continues well into the seventies or eighties.
However, in a girl child, when she is born, there is a limited number of eggs in the ovaries.
With each menstrual cycle, the egg follicles get used up.
In the 40s and as menopause approaches, the eggs decline drastically.
A low AMH indicates that your ovarian resrve is quite low.
With a low AMH, chances of spontaneous conception are not very good.
You should consult a
fertility specialist, and go for IVF (
in vitro fertilization ) - that would be your best shot at conception attempts.
Also, Duphaston contains
progesterone.
It is safe, but in NO WAY does it improve your ovarian reserve.
Taking DHEA supplements will help marginally.
All the best
Take care.
