Is It Advisable To Take Losartan While On Benicar?
was wondering if u can take losartin100mg-25 hctz with benicar 40mg /25mg- i am thinking u should not betaking thse together but my moms doctore give her sample of benicar and she is also taking losartin- also was wondering about metroplol 50 mg- her doctor did not stop her other bp pressure pills.

Losartan and Benicar belong to the same group of anti-hypertensives and are not advised together however there is no apparent drug interaction between the two. I would advise you to consult your treating doctor asking him if he switched the drugs or wants your mother to have both. Metaprolol also seems not to interact with these drugs.
