Is It An Emergency After Having A Head And Nose Injury And Experiencing Sinus Pressure?
Three days ago I had fainted, fell forward and hit my nose and front of head on the wall and floor and immediately after getting up I fainted again. Now I have this constant pressure in my head and fell like I have a headache. I have taken medication but it doesn t seem to help. I also seem to have sinus pressure as well. Should I go to the ER or wait for my PCP appointment?

Depending on the force of your fall, you could have broken very fragile bones in your face that make up the walls of some of your sinuses or the inner bones of the nose. The injury could also have caused blood or secretions to pool and be trapped in one or more of the sinuses. Fractured sinuses can lead to infection and should be treated medically. They may also involve the bone cavities that house the eye balls (The Orbits) and their related muscles responsible for eye movement. Becaue of the possible risk of infection, I suggest that you not wait for a PCP appointment but that you rather go to ER right away.
