Is It Due To Brain Damage There Is Recurring Seizures?

Hello, My dad has had a big heart attack whilst in hospital. We are not sure how long it took for the doctors to get his heart going again, they say it was only minutes. However my dad wont wake up, he had his heart attack nearly 2 days ago and yesterday started having seizures whilst he is asleep, he has had about 25 in a matter of ours, they last no longer than a minute. He just wont wake up and they have a tube up his nose an oxygene. He was absolutely fine the day before, but then they doubled the fluezomide that he was taking and this has happened. They doctors have not given us any indiciation as to whether he will wake up, is having seizures because of brain damage or anything. They just say they are making him comfortable. The thing that worries me is that he is feeling pain and is aware of the seizues - can you explain what is happening - thank you.
