Sir I'm 24 yrs old, having Hashimoto thyroidism detected from 30 October 2013 and taking thyronorm 100mcg 1 daily till date and got concieved on 03 oct 2013 detected afterwards on 18 Nov.
Test results as follows: 04 sep 2013 - TSH 0.01mIU/mL TPO-361.58 IU/mL 24 Oct 2013 - Free T4-0.45 ng/dL and TSH 83.07mIU/mL TPO-341.34 IU/mL 18 Nov 2013 - Free T4-2.02 ng/dL and TSH 1.21mIU/mL 24 Dec 2013 - Free T4-1.90 ng/dL and TSH 0.20 mIU/mL
Totally confused to what to do? Is there any problem with continuing pregnancy? Whether will it cause any harm to baby or its mental growth? please advise
HI Thank for asking to HCM Generally it does not cause any harm to baby still you have to be very careful, you have to go for antenatal assessment periodically it is rather team work, from the beginning you have to see the expert and academic gynaecologist, take care have nice day.
