Is It Harmful To Get Exposed To Radiation Of X-ray?
I received an head X-ray in South Africa whilst on holiday due to an accident the first X-ray was almost completely blacked out with the skull only showing as a gray shadow the second was as I whould expect with the skull showing white and quiet distinct. I have been told the first X-ray was overexposed if this is the case would the level of radiation that caused this have been harmful to me in the long term any help much appreciated thanks
Diagnostic xrays done are not harmful in any way. You must be more concerned about the diagnosis rather then exposure to xrays. Cumulative radiation exposure is measured by a monitoring device on the technician who is exposed to lot more radiation.
