Is It Important To Get Titanium Plates And Screws After Being In An Accident?
Doctor, my boyfriend was recently in a car crash and the doctors mentioned that his L1 had compressed less than 50% and it was fractured... they have recommended surgery of titanium plates and screws to decompress it, howvere, his so terrified of the outcomes of surgery so I want to know, is wearing a cask for 3 months better for him than getting surgery and what are the pros and cons of surgery? and what other options are out there? his 21

Don't go for a lengthy procedure. Doing surgery is the best option, it will give him proper immobilization. As it is about the spine, he may show symptoms of paraplegia. So immediately do a surgical correction and follow instructions from a physiotherapist.
