My grandson has been diagnosed with Typhoid second stage. The doc has asked for an ultra sound. Is it necessary?

yes,ultrasound is helpful in this condition
it can detect splenomegaly, Bowel wall thickening , mesenteric lymphadenopathy , hepatomegaly with normal parenchymal echoteture , thickened gall bladder , biliary sludge etc
so go for the usg scan
