Is It Normal For Persistent Vaginal Bleeding To Stop After Intake Of Norethisterone?

Hi there, I have had the implant contraceptive for a little over 2 years and was bleeding almost everyday. Before going on holiday I was given a course of norethisterone which stopped the bleeding for around 2 weeks. After finishing the course I had a really bad withdrawal bleed however, since then I have not bled at all, is this normal? I have took a pregnancy test as I was worried due to normally bleeding a lot however it was negative. Should I visit a doctor?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern.
Discussion:- The important is to rule out the menopause because you have not given your age, if you are not above 30 or 40 years of age then such bleeding could be due to hormone changes and some time may be due to IUD
Medication:- In case of heavy bleeding hemostatic agent can be tried
Advise:- Yes of course you can see the Doctor this is the best idea.
Comments:- No need to worry about this.
