Is It Normal If The Pee Is Orange In Colour After Using Equate Monistat ?
Hi, I ve had a terrible yeast infection for about the past week. I m 16 years old. I am sexually active with my boyfriend but I haven t had intercourse since the yeast infection started. I have not been to a doctor but I took an at home yeast infection and bv test and everything came back as a yeast infection. Before bed I used equate monistat 1 day relief and it burned worse than it ever did. The next morning I went to go pee and it was orange. Is that normal?
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
No, Monistat should not change tha color of urine, rather you may be having serious infection there and there might be blood or pus in urine.
Yeast is not only one infection, there is a pack of urinary pathogens that need consideration.
It can be due to dehydration as well.
I will advise to consult a local physician, get Urine routine and culture and complete blood counts.
Avoid sexual intercourse till you recover reasonably. Also get your partener screened for the infections.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
