Is It Normal To Get Pregnant With No Pregnancy Symptoms?
Hi Dr. Lundi. I recently found out I m pregnant. This past March, I had a miscarriage, (blighted ovum), and had a D&C procedure. I m concerned now that this pregnancy will also end in miscarriage, as I m having no noticeable symptoms - just like before. Is there any reason to suspect problems because of a complete lack of pregnancy symptoms? Thanks, Kristin

I understand your concern.. It is not necessary that all pregnant patient should have early pregnancy symptoms.. Get a hcg done if its value greater than 1500 get a scan done to see for gestational sac.. Repeat scan at 7 weeks shows fetal pole and cardiac activity. If hcg <1500 get a repeat hcg after 48 hrs to see for doubling, which indicates its a healthy pregnancy. So don't worry. Hope i have answered your queries.. Good day.
