Is It Normal To Have A Firm External Anal Sphincter?
Is it normal for my external anal sphincter to feel firm, especially the edge under my perineum? It only aches a little if I strain to have a bm. No other symptoms, just wondering if is normal to feel part of it under the skin and its firm. I fI pucker, I cant feel it anymore.

I really appreciate your concern, yes it is the normal appearance of the anal part, and it may not be due to any disease, if you do not have any symptoms, like pain, tenderness then it is nothing to worry about this.
Although clinical examination is the last judge for better confirmation so better to see the doctor just for better and correct advise, because clinical examination makes the lot of difference than what the description being given here.
