Is It Normal To Have A Plugged And Ringing Ears After Myringotomy?
Is it normal to have a plugged ear and ringing after a myringotomy? I came in for a turbinate reduction but my ear was clogged from a cold and since I have a history of tubes and ear issues we decided to do the myringotomy as well on my right ear.
Now my ear is still plugged and is ringing. I can't blow my nose yet because of the turbinate reduction. Will this fullness and ringing go away? Is this normal? I'm having major anxiety about this.
It is normal to have the fullness and the ringing sensation and should disappear in 3-4 days! If however it persists, i would like you to meet your ent doctor for examination and further advice. Thanks
