Is It Normal To Have Back Pain Due To Dancing That Worsens On Running?

I'm on a college dance team and we have to run a mile 4 times a week. I've had lower back pain for some time now from dancing but since I have started running the pain has increased a huge amount. I have noticed that running up hills makes the pain worse. Is this common and is there anything I can do to help it?

Hi,
This could be normal this is the first time being exposed to sports of such an intensity. It is generally better to do exercise incrementally. I suggest you get some anti inflammatory drugs for now and stay calm. I think its no serious condition. Kind regards and no worries for now.
