Is It Normal To Have Cold Feet/legs With Moderate Fever?

I am a 33 year old female, mostly good health though with a history of asthma. I am 5 9 and 270 lbs. Yes, I am aware that this is badly overweight, I also work out 5.5 hours a week and I m working on fixing my diet. I currently have a cold, I ve had a fever for 3 days now that refuses to break, and while my head, arms, and upper torso are hot, my legs feel normal and my feet are ice-cold. I normally have cold feet, but it seems strange with the fever. (other symptoms are typical cold symptoms - sinus congestion, post-nasal drip, dry cough, sore throat from the drip and the cough, fever fluctuating from 99.2-100.4 at different times of the day) Is it normal to have cold feet/legs with a moderate fever?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this is the positive feed back mechanism of body that before rising the body temperature one could feel cold, shivering, some time rigor, then the body temperature begins to rise, and this is mostly happening in case of infection, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
