Is It Normal To Have Epithelial Cells In Urine?

my lab result shows WBC/pus cells 6-11 HPF. RBC 12-14 HPF (with menstruation). Many epithelial cells. amorphous few. Bacteria many. Mucus thread none. Colorless, slightly turbid, reaction 6.0, negative albumin and sugar, SG 1.020.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
But epithelial cells are normally present in urine. you have high rbcs but with menstruation it is also normal. other parametere are also normal. so overall you have normal urine analysis report. Dont worry, just be relaxed.

Pus Cells in urine indicate infection,your count of 6-11/hpf is slightly high.,upto 5 pus cells is taken as normal. Normally a few epithelial cells from the bladder or external urethra can be found in the urine sediment however in urinary tract infections/inflammation more epithelial cells are present. You have urinary tract infection.A course of antibiotics will cure it.you dont need to worry.Take care!
