Is It Normal To Have Late Periods After Delivery?

Hi my name is Kym, I had a baby 3 month ago and I bled for a month then stopped for a week then bled for another ten day's after that so I considered that as my period. Anyway I am 17 day's late and I want to no if it is normal for my period to this late?

HI,
Starting normal mestual period after delivery differs from person to person It may be 1 month to 1 year after delivery.
If you are breast feeding the periods tend to be irregular.
Though lactation is assumed to hamper fertility, conception in lactational amenorheoa is possible, so it's better to be careful,if you are not prepared for next issue.So start using contarseptive,once you start menstruating.
This time you can exclude pregnancy by blood HCG test.
