Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is It Normal To Have Loss Of Sensation In Legs When Suffering From Deep Vein Thrombosis In Legs?
I was diagnosed with extensive DVT in right leg (from pelvis to ankle) 6 months ago. I feel like I have bubbles moving through my veins (or twitching). What is the cause of the twitching. Is this normal? My leg keeps falling asleep while elevating. Should I be concerned?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The twitching and loss of sensations in the legs is likely to be due to a nerve injury or compression. This is not likely to be related to DVT. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
