Is It Normal To Have Orange Color Urine During Pregnancy?
Hi well my question is that sometimes I go to the bathroom and pee and when I wipe myself something orange is in the paper toilet is not alot that comes out the urine I believe is normal color but it's like orange color and just happen only when I wipe
I don't if it's normal because its my second baby I have 32 weeks pregnant right now my due date is on march 3, 2014 and I drink prenatal with folic acid once a day my baby doctor give for the baby vitamins and the second that I have to drink is lamotrigine 150mg twice a day because I have seizures (epilepsy) I had it since when I was 10 years old drinking the same medecine so my doctor said to drink it to not have seizures during my pregnancy. This happened like 4 or 5 days ago with the same problem. Haven't ask my baby doctor because well my appointment will be next week but I'm not sure if it's ok for a pregnant women

The possible causes for orange colored urine are :
-Decreased water intake can lead to high colored urine.
-Lamotrigine can cause red or cola colored urine as side effect.
-During pregnancy, blood supply to local genital organs increases.
That can lead to minimal spotting. This spotting by mixing with urine can lead to orange colored urine.
So, if altered color of the urine persists, once consult gynecologist and get examined to rule out spotting.
Then go for urine microscopy.
If result shows normal parameters, no need to worry.
Drink plenty of water, at least 4 to 5 liters of water to be taken per day.

This may be from vaginal discharge or urine is so concentrated ,that cause this color.
You should do vaginal smear and urine analysis to exclude any infection and treat it in a properly way.
You should drink much water ,2-3 l per day;and cranberry tea.
