Is It Normal To Have Positive Pregnancy Test After Taking Cytotec For Abortion?
Hi Dr i had my abortion on the 11 of july using cytotec alone my pregnancy test still positive after 3week.its that normal.all the sign of pregnancy is YYYY@YYYY you can help me am planning to take cytotec again am 2months can i used it again its is the only way i can abort coz in our country abortion is illegal.

If you took cytotec and still have a pregnancy test that is positive 3 weeks later, then it is possible that you are still pregnant. It is extremely important for you to have an HCG drawn and an ultrasound performed. This should all occur BEFORE you take more cytotec. It is possible that the pregnancy is not in the uterus (perhaps in the tube) and in this case, the medication would not work to end the pregnancy.
