Is It Normal To Have Sensation And Mobility In Foot And Ankle After Trimalleolar Fracture Surgery?
I underwent surgery last year following a trimalleolar fracture..a few months later my entire foot & ankle was numb & I had no mobility whatsoever..after about 2 months it subsided..now I have full sensation and mobility..is this unusual? And why does this happen?

Hi Thanks for your query After going through your description your operating surgeon is the best person to answer such question.Have faith in him.My advice for you would be do regular ankle exercise,diet rich in calcium and vitamin D will help to rergain the lost strength. Take care
