Is It Normal To Have Severe Pain While Standing After Removing Ingrown Toe Nails?

Hi my husband had 2 ingrown toenails removed 5 weeks ago, and they are still painful. When he stands they pain is worst. His toes get very sore and painful when it is cool. Pain killers and heat packs help re-leave the pain short term. Is this normal or not?

Dear Friend
Welcome to Health care magic. I am Dr Charu , I will shortly try to help you with my opinion.

It is quite unusual to get pain after more than a month of surgery.

but it may be due to secondary infection also which requires oral and topical antibiotics.

Based on the available details, this is my best advice for you. You should discuss with your doctor and share my opinion , I am sure he/she will agree to my opinion.
Good Luck.
