Is It Normal To Have Small Clots In Hands After Valve Replacement When On Medication?

Hi Doctor,

My mother underwent valve replacement on 1998 & now she is 62 yr old. She is taking 2 mg on Mon,tue,thu,fri,sun & 1 mg on wed & sat. 45 Days before when she checked INR it was 1.56 so Doctor asked to take 2 mg everyday. After exactly 45 days again she tested INR but it has come as 6.47. Please note She reported kind of small clot in her hands. Is this is really serious problem. Please suggest

You need to see your treating doctor for that for modification of the dose of anticoagulants
