Is It Normal To Have White Clumps Of Discharge With Vaginal Bleeding?

I am on month two of my depo provera shot. I hadn t had my period the last two months. Last Friday I got my cycle. Very light. But then yesterday (Wednesday) it increased quite a bit. Today I have severe pain on and off. Changed my tampons as regular to avoid toxic shock syndrome. When I changed my tampon after feeling severe pain. A clump of something came out with it. Had blood but easily washed away. But the clump was clear underneath the blood. It was about .5 thick and roundish. It was stuck to my tampon.
