Hi, thanks for using HCM.

Yellow soft stool is usual form of stool, not to worry for this. Any change in consistency or frequency of bowel movements need to be evaluated.
For recent onset of thirst and weight gain get blood sugar test done to rule out Diabetes.
Consumption of required amount of calorie intake according to your activities is essential to have good healthy weight.

If you are gaining weight in spite of strict diet control and regular exercise, need to rule out endocrine abnormality(Hormonal imbalance).

Hope this helps you.

Regards
