WELCOME TO HCM.
This echo sound in your ear is known as tinnitus. Tinnitus can be caused by an increase in blood flow and your body is producing a lot more blood right now. It is typically harmless but just annoying and there is often no treatment. Ways to cope would be to avoid perfect silence by having a fan on or soft music at night to help mask it out. If you are tired or stressed it can make it louder or if you have caffeine. This is something I counsel my patients every other day. It will go. No need to worry.
