Is It Normal To Still Have Headache After Maxillary Sinus Surgery?
Had maxillary sinus surgery 2-1/2 weeks ago to enlarge sinus opening and clean out sinus (it was filled with fungus and bacteria). Previous to surgery I had constant headache for over a year. I am still having headaches since surgery. I also have a lot of scar tissue in sinus from previous surgery many years ago. Is it normal to still have headache?
I can certainly understand your concern about your headache, it is quite normal to have this headache even after maxillary sinus surgery...As you need to supplement with decongestants and antihistamines to get relieved from that headache. Definitely your pain would have been better when compared to before surgery.I can advise that you can follow up with your doctor for any other complications or infection. You must start some antibiotics like amoxicillin for 1 week...and get an advise from ENT specialist
Post your further questions if any, I will available to take up your follow up questions
Thank you
