Is It Ok To Consume Alcohol If On Xanax Medicine Or How Long Should One Wait To Consume Alcohol?
I ve been taking Xanax for about two weeks, and I was wondering how long I should wait to consume alcohol if at all, online it says you have a high risk of dieing?? I take 1 peach Xanax a day I think 0.25mg. But my question is it ok too consume alcohol, because of my low dose or what??
Hello, xanax contains alprazolam is benzodiazepine which is used in the treatment of anxiety and some other disorders. There are various reports that says taking this medicine with alcohol can increase the effect of each others that can be dangerous. So avoid alcohol when using this medicine even when you are taking 0.25 mg of alprazolam. Otherwise lets discuss your doctor about this so that he can change to different drug. Hope this helps. Thank you.
