What Are The Side Effects Of Xanax?

I have a sister that just left her husband back in March. She has just been diagnosed with a muscle disorder which is causing low oxygen. Her carbon dioxide runs about 70+. They are trying to determine which muscle disorder she has. Here is what I am trying to ask. I recently found out that her husband use to put xanax in her drinks without her knowing to knock her out. I have a recording of this person that said that her husband would brag about it. Now my quesion; would xanax do this to a person? I really do not know how much he has given her at one time.

Hi,

You didn't mention the condition's name, rest assured Xanax cannot cause any muscular disorder. It might temporarily affects breathing, but no long term disorder can be caused by it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
