Is It Possible For My Grandma Suffering From ILD To Have A Transplant?

Hello doctor.. My grandma is 80 years and is diagnosed with ILD. Our doctor told us that she is in her final stage and may succeed for another six months maximum. Is it possible for my grandma to have a transplant doctor? She is very weak and weighs only 45 kgs. Is there any other way?

Go for full pulmonary rehabilitation programme.Transplant would definately help however you have to consider the pros and cons of the procedure at this age .
