Hi Mineva,

Yes infants can have ethmoidal sinusitis but it is very rare. The symptoms you have described appears like allergic rhinitis, your child requires steroid nasal drops to reduce the sneezing episodes along with antihistaminic. Please consult a good ENT specialist.

Thank you for your answer... is it possible to be from the amniotic fluid that she inhaled and it's still there? I think that's my JP thinks, cause all they are saying is ''it's nothing...it's may be a cold, stop worry...it'll past...'' and they are doing nothing about it. but it doesn't pass and she is sneezing every single day of her life, and i'm doing nothing to help her. i don't understand why the jp-s are not sending me to a specialist :(((

Hi,

Tell them you had consulted ENT specialist online and had discussed about this, they have suspected allergic problem and have asked for ENT consultation. Also, warn your GP if some thing wrong happens to the child he will be held responsible.

To be honest, I also was thinking about allergy, but nor me or my husband are not having any allergyes nor even in our family. the strangiest thing with my baby is: her nose is not blocked or runny, but she sniffles all the time. The thing I would like to know is, are they gonna make her any tests or something to be shure if it's an allergy? I'm going on Monday to the GP and if they refuse to send me, i'm going by my own, to a specialist. THANKS A LOT FOR ANWERING MY QUESTIONS :))))

Hi,

They can probably do a blood test to find out eosinophil count and hope nothing more than that. All the best.

please take her to a nearby homeopath or take your wife to a good ayurvedic physician. Homeopath will give medicine to the child based on the symptoms. Ayurvedic doctor will correct the mother's milk and treat the child through the milk. Do not take risk with a 4 month old based on the suggestions given in this platform.
