Is It Possible To Determine HIV By Monitoring The CBC Report?

I am 30 years old male, I had a unprotected sexual intercourse I just met. Now, I am worried I might have have contacted HIV. I don t drink , don t do drugs. Not to stress out about HIV test, I tried to get a CBC count for the meantime. I know HIV test is the only solution, but is CBC a good indication? My WBC is 9.7 while my rbc is 5.71 platelets is adequAte . I have a cough and I am occasionally fatigue . But nothing more. Do you think I should really get the test for HIV? Or I can just continue monitoring my CBC? Thank you for your help.

Hi,
cbc monitoring will not help you at all. No need to go for that. Hiv can not be detected by cbc.si dont do that.just go for confirmatory hiv testing once after a month of exposure. You can go with p24 antigen or pcr.

Hi, cbc monitoring is not useful for you. your cbc is normal but it give no idea regarding your hiv status. you should go for confirmatory hiv testing once after a month of exposure. You can go with p24 antigen or pcr. It will give you exact idea regarding your status.
