Is It Possible To Get Recurrent Sinus Infection?

Hi i ve been coughing all throughout the day (mostly a dry cough) for three days now (sometimes 20 coughs in a straight row), But, I also have a good amount of drainage that has some colored mucus. Also, I got a cold sore on the corner of my lips about 3 days ago and I ve never had one before. I just got over a sinus infection a few weeks ago. Could it possibly be another one?

Hello,

Yes itvis possible that recurrent sinusitis. Causes are like allergy or immunosuppressive conditions or sinuses blockage etc.

Avoid allergens, avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
