Is It Safe To Continue Meftal For Recurring Fever In Children?
My son is 4 years old and he is suffering with high fever sInce 2 days.I have been adviced by the doctor to give meftal p thrice a day.once i give him meftal p it works for 4 hours and again the fever gets flared up.should I give it once in 4 hours?please advise.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the fibril condition then try to bring down the fever with cold sponging instead of giving antipyretic, medicine for fever can be given in high grade fever and it may not be repeated within 4 hours but cold sponging can be tried, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
